Ladybugs are beneficial insects. They are actually a beetle. And, they are beneficial because they eat the insects that do harm to your garden like aphids and mites. So, we want more ladybugs to stop by and visit.

A ladybug shelter or an insect hotel is an attractive addition to your garden, but more importantly, it’s an interesting way to attract a variety of beautiful  and beneficial insects.

A insect hotel is a dark, cozy area that provides a place for insects to rest safely away from, wet weather, birds and other predators. Some types of insects may use the shelter to hibernate during the winter.
