Bos primigenius primigenius
Found in Poland
The auroch, or a primal cow, is an extinct bovine species. The cattle we know today descend from this kind.
This cow lived in almost all of Europe except for Ireland and northern Scandinavia. Asia and Africa also belong to the habitat of the aurochs.
From India in the second half of the Pleistocene the aurochs came to Europe. The aurochs lived up to a period of 1200-1400 and probably died out by being hunted by the humans.
