More and more media outlets are reaching out to us to tell the story of our profession. From radio interviews to articles in national and regional newspapers, the world of taxidermy is receiving increasing attention. And for that, we are genuinely grateful.
Not long ago, we were featured on NPO Radio 1, where we spoke about the craft and the growing interest in animal taxidermy. Regional media outlets such as Omroep Gelderland also visited our workshop, offering a behind-the-scenes look at how we work.
In addition, articles about our work appeared in publications including De Telegraaf and De Gelderlander, highlighting both the craftsmanship involved and the personal stories behind what we do. These articles explored, among other things, the increasing demand for pet preservation and the care, dedication, and precision required for such work.
We also received attention from De Telegraaf following the remarkable discovery of a Slender-billed Curlew, a bird species widely regarded as extinct worldwide. The article described how this extraordinary specimen eventually came into our care and can now be viewed by the public. For us, it was a unique opportunity to help preserve a piece of natural history and make it accessible to those with an interest in wildlife and conservation.
We were also invited to several radio programs, including Radio 10 and Radio 5, where we had the opportunity to speak in greater depth about our passion and the day-to-day work carried out in our workshop.
In the Media
For us, the most rewarding aspect of this attention is the opportunity to show people what our work truly involves, told by individuals who have been passionate about this profession from a young age.
We would like to thank all journalists, editors, and program makers for their interest and trust. And of course, everyone who reads our stories, listens to our interviews, and follows our journey.
Thank you.
