Before 1936, the Goldfinch was a popular cage bird that could easily learn tricks. One of the most famous is that the bird was taught to ‘’draw water‘’ in a small bucket where the bird connected to a chain, pulled up the bucket. The original name is goldfinch. This name is derived from the fact that they are fond of thistle seeds.

All our animals have died a natural death in zoos or aviaries, or come from private individuals. Our animals are certified and come with the necessary documentation.
