In the 1960s, there was a rabies epidemic among foxes in Switzerland. To deal with it as quickly and effectively as possible, the Swiss government decided to inoculate chicken heads and drop them all over the countryside in the hope that the foxes would eat them and inoculate themselves. 5 years and 52,000 chicken heads later, it had finally worked and the foxes were rabies free!

All our animals have died a natural death in zoos or aviaries or come from private individuals. Our animals are certified and come with all the necessary paperwork.
