Productinformation
Species: Chlorocebus sabaeus
Origin: West Africa
Skull of a male green meerkat. This species lives in open savannahs and forest edges and is known for its vigilance and social behaviour. The male skull is more robustly built than that of the female, with a wider jaw and more powerful muscle attachments. This reflects their role within the group and their ability to handle robust plant and animal food.
Males tend to be larger and more dominant within the social hierarchy of the group, which consists of several females and their young.
All our animals have died a natural death in zoos or aviaries, or come from individuals. Our animals are certified and come with the necessary documentation. If you are looking for a skull that is not on the website, please contact us!
We also prepare on commission. You can contact us for the cleaning, degreasing and bleaching of animal skulls. As from €45.00!
