The name means "fearsome lizard" in Greek. It is the largest predator of its time and could grow up to 9 meters long. It lived between 77 and 74 million years ago.
Daspletosaurus belongs to the tyrannosaurus family and is the smaller cousin of the t-rex. This replica has been made by the artists Emma Bouw and Lina Walen from R.I.P. Statue.
